I tried to change it to something else with right click show properties, but didnt really know what to change it to. The first thing I would do it to try to open them in Camera Raw, and look at them at 100%. Rick McCleary: I don't know what is causing your specific problem, but the general recommendation is to have no more than 300 files in a folder when processing DNG's. The same thing happened to me recently. You had not specified how you were transferring the files to the other computer.
The standard method is the Bayer conversion which uses interpolation to guess the colors missing from the individually colored pixels sites. However, I don't keep the TIFF's on my computer but burn to disk and only keep the JPG's on the computer. Ur scanner probably uses a RGBRGBRGB linear scanner element and directly produces a full RGB per pixel image. Why?Thanks for your help.
