When I use another port just next to it (exactly the same parameters of the port), it works. Is the missing upper filter "ksthunk". Lo and behold, IT'S two folders (scripts and bookmarks) were in the same locations, BUT were "contained" in a folder called "DVD Player" - unlike it's malfunctioning brother. IMO its not a Logitech or Microsoft Lifecam issue but really narrowed down to something wrong with Windows 7.
