The fact that a ‘backup' can fail so dramatically betrays a level of incompetence that is unfathomable. Perhaps someone who backs up to local drives could weigh in on this. I used a ' in the name of the drive, as in "peter's drive". There is a fundamental conflict between the WD Drive utilities and Apple's sleep mode.
