Reply Casey Friday says: October 29, 2013 at 14:26 I did this, and I'm getting an OSStatus Error 2 message, stating "Time Machine can't access the backup disk". Once that occurred the "in progress" backup file was corrupted and needed to be deleted in order for Time Machine to continue.I'm not sure what caused the problem. I only recently noticed that the middle of the TM icon changes to a lock after the unsuccessful run; it changes back to the clock hands after a successful run. Run Disk Utility on it and see if something obvious comes up. navigate to this website
