This would be nice if I had a mostly unused desktop but for my primary machine it was a little annoying. And, outside of OS X, you can't use the command to manually assign the drive. So, I'm feeling distinctly out of my depth. This will mount the sparse bundle in /Volume/unidentified (unindentified is the standard name, but you could have chosen your own beforehand).
