If its not 9.4 that's your problem. I don't think this guy had done any cablecard installs before but I couldn't see that he was doing anything wrong other than being impatient with any wait during the process. You can definitely try swapping out the cable card at the local office again though. several cards have been tried. Have had six or seven visits by all kinds of techs - no effect. It works on many operating systems, in many languages.
